Shelly, in the New Orleans branch, is without a doubt the most positive person I've ever spoken to.  She is always 110% ready to go with anything that I ask of her. She is always on top of sending me new assignment information to make sure that I'm aware of what's going on. To put it simply, I've never been disappointed in any of my interactions with Shelly at Lofton.

- Steve, Accounts Receivable

Welcome to New Orleans

Since 1979, Lofton has built a reputation on providing staffing solutions that companies can rely on to make their businesses more efficient, cost-effective and profitable. Our founder, Mr. Thomas I. Lofton, spent more than fifteen years in human resources management in the chemical industry. Utilizing his experience, he began his own temporary help company as a franchise of a large national company.

That two-room office has grown over the last 40 years to the largest locally owned, independent staffing and security company in Louisiana, boasting eight offices in Louisiana, two offices in Texas, and one in Arkansas and Mississippi.  Our corporate office is located in Baton Rouge, LA. In 2000, Lofton became completely independent and changed its name to reflect the entrepreneur who began our business.

We Believe...

Relationships are built…one on one.
Know your people - match interest and talents to the tasks.
Don’t manage by numbers. (They just show if we’re on track.) People do the work.
People should feel better when they leave than when they came – and in turn we feel better.
When we help others, we help ourselves.
Great expectations: fair pay, fair treatment, teach me.
Have fun…and be better.
Work at having fun (51% of the time.) If you don’t feel it, fake it. Having fun is not slacking off. Work is more natural than play.
